Costume, Cast and Crew
Costume
Initial sketches for costume
I did some initial planning sketches of what I want my costumes to look like, taking inspiration from my mood board and mind map. Below are the drawings, they all have information on their purpose.

requirements
I want to use movement/ dance as a key feature in the music video, it will work with the lyrics and because I want to focus on contemporary movement it will work with the indie music genre. There aren't any physical requirements for the character/s, because they will be dressed up as a ghost. However, because movement is a specific requirement in my video, I will need them to have an understanding of the dance style I want to use. I will create the dance choreography through my story board and watching contemporary dance performances. I have access to various dancers, as a drama student, so will be able to recruit performers to be in my video and help with choreography.
Actors
Before shooting, I got a lot of requests from performers/dancers to be in the video; however, due to the limitations (with the risk of Covid-19) I decided to only take limited people. On the first day of shooting, I took one performer to Heywood forest, and directed them to perform in a way so that I would be able to turn the video shots into a montage. The second day of filming (which was a couple of days later) I wasn't able to get the same actor, so I used a different person to perform at Codden Hill. Continuity is important for my video, so I directed them in the same way; luckily this part of the video will be more focused on quick cuts, so the viewer shouldn't be able to tell that it's a different actor.
Crew
When on set and filming, I had some help from some other people I took with me to the two locations. They helped hold cameras and tripods when I needed a specific filming or photography requirement that I couldn't do on my own. I also had help with getting my actor(s) in their costume and dealing with the natural climates, so I could get the best shots of the costumes.
